Never Let a Disaster Go To Waste.... When in Doubt, Create one.

Follow the Green
It was January 28th 2009 a mire 8 days after Obama was inaugurated. With a stroke of the pen he landed a commanding blow to the bio-fuel companies of America. What a surprise!! Everyone thought Obama was going to be a green president; in fact one of his first picks was Vilsack for Secretary of Agriculture…ex governor of Iowa. You couldn't get much greener than that. At the time I thought this executive order to kill the renewable fuels standard (RFS) was a minor curiosity but forgot about it until now… 10 months later I see what must have been planned long before inauguration day.
Never let a disaster go to waste…and when in doubt …. Create a Disaster. This must be the motto of team Obama. Bio-fuels are expensive to make. It costs more to make a gallon of green than it does a gallon of gasoline. The only way these companies could survive or grow is under the umbrella of the Bush mandate that forced a certain percentage of bio into every gallon of gasoline. Now with this mandate killed, bio-fuel companies nationwide began dying on the vine…. Yes, you can buy a bio-fuel company for a song.
It just so happens there is a company doing that. They are snapping up bio-fuel companies like a chicken eating corn and yes…. this company is based in Chicago! There are rumors that a new RFS-2 executive order (key word… executive order means it bypasses congress) is just around the corner and in fact there is an RFS-2 convention in mid November…. In Chicago. Don't be surprised if the framework of this new mandate will be set to exclude oil companies and include DNA registered plants…. Move over Exxon… hello Monsanto. With a stroke of the pen… billions will change hands. Follow the green…money.
